Service bindings do not add a request
Explainer · workers
On Standard pricing, a Worker calling another Worker through a service binding is one request plus the CPU of both.
Free plan
The pricing page says this is only true on Standard. Legacy Bundled and Unbound plans bill the incoming service-binding request as well.
Paid plan
Splitting a codebase into two Workers does not double the request line if you are on Standard.
What it means
CPU is summed. A cheap router in front of an expensive renderer still pays for both CPU totals.
What it does to a bill
Do not model service bindings as subrequests that cost $0.30.
