Cookieless analytics
The site can load Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless page-view count. The beacon does not set a cookie and it does not send us your name or email. Cloudflare describes the product on its Web Analytics documentation.
The site also keeps first-party counts. The browser sends an event name (for example that the calculator was used, or that a newsletter signup was submitted), a short detail and the page language to this site. The server stores a daily total of those fields. That table does not store an email address, an account id or a cookie.
Newsletter email, sent with Resend
If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address, the language you chose and whether you have confirmed. Signup is double opt-in: the newsletter is not sent until you open the confirmation link. Each message has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Resend sends that mail. Resend receives the address, the subject and the message so it can deliver it. Messages come from [email protected], and replies go there too. We do not sell the list. Resend's own notice is its privacy policy.
Google AdSense
Pages load Google AdSense. Google can set third-party cookies and use them to show personalised ads. Those ads are Google's, not a message from this site.
You can review or change personalised ads in Google's ad settings. How Google uses data from sites that use its advertising services is in Google's advertising policies.
Language preference
If you choose English or Spanish, the browser stores that choice in local storage so the next visit can offer the same language. That value is not a cookie and it is not sent with the analytics counts.
What this page does not add
FlareCost does not sell personal data. It does not ask for a postal address, because there isn't one to publish.
